The problem

Top Innovation designs, builds and maintains high-end pools and gardens for Dubai villas. The work is excellent. Nothing about their presence said so.

The old site was outdated, carried errors and generated almost no enquiries, so the business ran on networking and word of mouth. That works until you want to grow, and it means every new client has to be introduced by someone rather than finding you.

The wider problem was the field. Dubai has a lot of landscaping firms and very few of them have a serious digital presence, so buyers have no way to tell a premium builder from a cheap one before they make contact. Top Innovation were being judged as one of the crowd despite doing better work than most of it. In a category where nobody has shown up properly, the brand that does goes straight to the top.

Rules

The photography is the product. In this business the finished build is the entire argument. Everything else on the site exists to get out of its way.

No photography direction existed. The client needed guidance, so I set the visual direction with mood boards and worked with their photography team on how the builds should be shot.

Familiar, not foreign. They wanted a modern look but recognisably still themselves, so the new identity had to evolve what they had rather than replace it.

No copy. All site copy was written from scratch.

Webflow with a reusable project template. The team adds new villa builds themselves, without a developer.

Identity and structure

The system is built around craft and permanence: a restrained palette, confident typography, generous space. Deliberately quiet, because the job of the design here is to let the photography carry the pitch. Results are everything in this business, so the site is simple and the images talk.

That principle set the structure too. Services are stated plainly and briefly. The weight of the site sits in a reusable villa-project template, one page per build, so a prospective client spends their time looking at finished pools rather than reading claims about them. The template had to hold up across very different projects, from a compact courtyard to a full villa landscape, without any of them looking diminished by the layout.

Outcome

Enquiry form submissions rose 47% after launch, from a previous site that was generating almost none. Organic search traffic grew 3.4x in six months. Key pages load under 1.4 seconds despite the site being photography-led. The team adds new villa projects through the template themselves.

Managing Director – Top Innovation

“The team understood the premium feel we were going for straight away. The brand and site finally look like the work we actually deliver, and enquiries have picked up noticeably since launch.”
